TRAINING

Pole fitness classes are for all shapes, sizes and ages. You don't need to be strong, thin, flexible or female! You will develop skills and find yourself achieving things you never thought you would - the reason why pole is so rewarding.

To help you along with your pole journey, stretch classes are also available to assist in improving your flexibility and keeping those muscles strong and healthy. Private sessions can also be booked so you can focus on your own personal goals - these are available as a 1-1 session or 2-1.

Pole classes are currently only taking twelve students per session so places will be given on a first come first served basis. This is to ensure each student can utilise the poles and tutoring effectively. 

Students can pay as they go or opt to pay for a monthly membership.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I start pole classes with no upper body strength?


You can absolutely start pole classes with little or no upper body strength! A lot of people think they need the strength and skills before the start pole classes, but that’s certainly not the case! You will build up your strength as you go!




I’m too ‘big’ – do you have to be skinny to do pole classes?


Absolutely not! Pole is open to everyone – all ages, shapes and sizes! Historically pole may have originated with these stereotypes, but pole has evolved a lot over the years! We have a great atmosphere at Leviosa, where everyone supports one another.




Do I have to wear shorts to pole classes?


Shorts are not essential, however, they will certainly help you with grip. I’d probably say you can get away with trying your first class without shorts, but I’m pretty sure after that, you will be eager to wear shorts!




Are there beginner pole classes available?


I open up all classes to everyone so you have as much choice to attend a class as you can. However, I give students different things to learn based on their level and capabilities – so you’ll never be thrown in the deep end.




Do I have to be flexible to do pole classes?


Absolutely not – this again, is something you will build up over time (if you choose to). Flexibility helps, but isn’t a necessity to start your pole journey. I also teach a stretch class on a Wednesday evening to help people in this area as well.




Should I come for a private before I join a class?


There is no right or wrong answer for this – it’s completely at your own preference. If you’re feeling a little shy and would prefer a taste for pole before starting a class, that’s absolutely fine! But lots of people dive straight in to classes.




How old do you have to be to take part in pole classes?


There is no age limit to my classes, however, minors need to be accompanied by an adult. I have taught a range of ages between 6 and 57!




Do I have to pay a membership to attend pole or stretch classes?


Your payment plan is completely up to you – pay as you go is always an option, but I also offer discounted 4 week blocks if you’d prefer to do that.




Do I have to use the 4 week blocks across 4 weeks (one a week)?


Realistically this is how it works, but I’m not strict if you have holidays planned/know in advance of plans etc – I just ask that you let me know the week prior if you won’t be at class the following week. On the other hand, if you would like to use your classes in less than 4 weeks (ie 2 a week), that is also fine!
